New Studios
Since launching in 1999, By Lawrence has become one of the largest boudoir companies in the world. And the firm appears to be at the crest of a trend. In response to customer demand, He’s working with more photographer and makeup artist teams to make it even easier to be photographed in one of his studios. He now has studios in Chicago, Dallas, Grand Prairie TX, Phoenix, Tucson, Los Angles, Atlanta, Springfield IL, Des Moines, Houston and Singapore he has started working with photographers in Florida, New York and Washington that will open this year.
The studio shoots last from two to four hours and include a photographer makeup team, refreshments, a custom photo package. “We make it fun,” says Lawrence, whose business has always centered on Glamour and Boudoir shots.
Until moving into his home in Baja California 2010, Lawrence was running the business out of his home office in Naperville, IL –and did most of the shoots in a studio at the house. Then he started working with photographers and makeup artists around the world and has launched studios in major cities to keep costs down for his clients. The studio shoots start around $500 while having Lawrence personally shoot starts around $3000

The Qualified Entry Process
We have made it easy to enter with a contest form on our website http://bylawrence.com/contest each person will receive one entry just for filling out the form with Name, Email address, City, State, the phone number is NOT required. You will receive 2 entries if you tell us your story and 2 more entries if you agree to allow us to use your pictures on our blog. Please only send one contact form per scheduled boudoir marathon. As soon as the deadline has past you may send in another entry for your city.
How a Winner Will Be Chosen
Each entry is a piece of paper with your email address written on it and placed in my favorite hat. I try to make them all the same size and I do close my eyes when picking each winner. See a picture of the hat in our July winner post

The Deadline
For each city that has a Boudoir Marathon scheduled entries will no longer be accepted to 60 days prior to the scheduled marathon date! Example: The Dallas TX marathon is scheduled for December 3rd so on October 3rd we will stop excepting entries for that Boudoir marathon. So if we receive your entry on October 4th we will assume you are entering for our next scheduled Dallas Boudoir Marathon.
Winner Notification
The winner will be contacted to notify them that they’ve won the contest by email up to five days after the entry deadline.
The Prize Acceptance
Prize acceptance requirements after the winner is notified via email they must respond to the notification within 48 hours with the specific time they are available on the day of the boudoir marathon, or they’ll automatically forfeit their prize.
The Alternate Winner
An alternate winner will be selected if the original winner does not respond appropriately based on the prize acceptance requirements explained above. We go back to the hat and chose once more.
Note: For any blog entries that include a photo or testimonial we will only use the first name of the client, and no client will have a photo posted unless they allow us to do so in writing, we respect your privacy above all.

The suspense was killing me so I drew the Phoenix winner a day early. I want to thank all of the girls that entered and all the stories telling me why they should win. From your stories it looks like the economy hasn’t picked up much. The newest craze is glamour and boudoir parties, this can be from a little black dress or sexy lingerie and all the way to the girls gone naked event.
By Lawrence photography has taken the average dinner party and turned it into an event to remember. You may have heard of having a photographer for your bachelorette party or girls night out, By Lawrence has taken this to both extremes for the ladies that want to have beautiful portraits done with their clothes like that little black dress to the girls gone naked event and anything in between.
Party portraits are now an affordable option for your next party, By Lawrence will arrange this in a local studio, hotel, the beach or you’re home. By Lawrence has changed the way party photography is done, our photographers come in setup a portable studio and have you pose for a perfect portrait. You can add a theme to the parties to give it a fun spin! You won’t believe this girls we are getting naked party; this is not as naughty as you think most of the photos are taken in the Maxim style so the pictures are only as naughty as you want them. Think of black underwear long black gloves your hands covering the naked top and the endless curves you have. If you don’t have a copy of Maxim you can go online and see what this is all about. This is one party you should bring those tight blue jeans too.

These two images are from a photographer that had already retouched and printed the image, the before is what was delivered to the client as retouched. The after is what I charged her $15 an image to retouch. Make sure the photographer you pick to photograph your boudoir photos has the skills to finish the job you hired them for.

This exclusive production style photo shoot is story-boarded like an editorial feature, complete with different looks and setting changes. Prior to the shoot, a consultation is set up to discuss ideas, inspiration and tailor the shoot to you. Lawrence and the makeup artist will put together a storyboard for your shoot, offer pointers on wardrobe and give a prep list for the shoot.
